Orciano Pisano is located in the province of Pisa. Your name Orciano Pisano presented for the first time in 765 as Ursiano derives from the name of Roman Ursius person, and then Orciano which is the "land of Ursio". Adding "Pisano" was imposed in 1862 to distinguish this common Orciano Pesaro. From 1927 to 1957 the town of Orciano was united with that of St. Luce, establishing the town of Santa Luce Orciano divided again starting in 1957.
